Therapy is a journey towards self-discovery, empowerment, and balance. Do you ever feel that you may be getting in the way of yourself in your efforts to live a rich and fulfilling life? Maybe you feel unmotivated or disconnected from a sense of joy. Life can be stressful with unexpected changes, relationship struggles, grief and loss, life transitions, sexual identity issues, social struggles, and current or previous trauma disrupting your day-to-day functioning. This often creates an out-of-control feeling with your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors.

I believe that a rich, meaning-filled life includes both incredible highs and inevitable lows. Through the lens of that belief, I seek to help people mindfully, authentically, and compassionately embrace the range of ups and downs that they experience in their lives. Meaningful change can occur when we honestly reflect on our challenges, values, and needs. Therapy is a team effort, and I will offer support by encouraging self-discovery and creating a safe space for deep self-reflection, which is needed to spark lasting, life-enriching healing.

Now serving Pennsylvania and Colorado virtually!

I enjoy working with clients seeking growth, integration and change in how they experience their lives, both past and present. I specialize in helping individuals heal after experiences of trauma or abuse, cope with challenges in relationships, improve their ability to manage stress, bolster their self-esteem, embrace their identity, and navigate life transitions. I take a compassionate, holistic, trauma-informed, individualized approach to addressing your unique needs that will get you started on a path towards clarity and lightness. Together we can identify what is already helping you get through today and improve upon that so that tomorrow feels a little easier.

I work with adults, young professionals and high school and college students experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, mood changes and self-esteem issues. Additionally, I enjoy working with couples who are seeking to improve their communication and connection with each other.

I incorporate a variety of modalities including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. Through our work together, my clients find themselves more relaxed with a new perspective on their lives and they are able to tackle what life throws at them through regained confidence and problem solving skills. Their relationships improve and they are happy, confident, well-adjusted people.

I’m dedicated to providing a space where clients feel comfortable, seen and heard as well as challenged. I strive to create a space that feels supportive and uniquely yours. My approach to therapy is based on a collaborative relationship that offers safety, trust, support, acceptance, and a little bit of humor to help you work towards finding a balance in your life, developing a deeper sense-of-self, and unlocking your potential. I begin from a place of connection and an appreciation of your potential and the power we have to impact each other. I will support you in your search for greater meaning, emotional awareness and empowerment in a world that can be stressful and isolating. Therapy is an invaluable space where you can begin to investigate all the parts of yourself and begin to heal and thrive. We will begin a thoughtful exploration of how your past experiences and relationships impact you presently. Together we will uncover and co-create new meanings out of your experiences, these new understandings can give you the power to relate differently to yourself and others.

My areas of focus and training include: Life Transitions; Women’s Issues; Trauma & PTSD; Depression; Anxiety; ADHD; Grief & Loss; Adolescent Mental Health; Parenting Struggles; Identity & Sexuality issues; and Couples Therapy. I pride myself in continuing to work towards being a strong ally for the LBGTQIA+ community.

Let’s work together to find balance in your life, increase your personal insight, improve your well-being, and get you to be the person you want to be.
